Safety and privacy
Your file inventory stays yours.
All scan data is processed locally. DiskScope does not upload file contents or require a cloud account. Results are stored in a local SQLite database so interrupted work can remain useful.
- No file contents are uploaded.
- Deletion uses the Windows Recycle Bin by default.
- Deletion remains disabled until an active scan is paused or finished.
- Local result data can be removed by deleting the DiskScope data folder.

64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11 with Microsoft WebView2 Runtime.
Native Windows x64 EXE and MSI installers are available. Version 1.2.4 is not code-signed, so verify its published checksum.
Allow space for the local SQLite result database. Protected folders may require elevated access and are reported when unavailable.

No. DiskScope is designed for local analysis. Scan results stay on the computer unless the user exports and shares a report.
